Pedro Carreiro-Martins, 43 years, M.D with specialized in allergology. 

He's assistant professor at Nova Medical School, and researcher of CEDOC (Centro de Estudos de Doenças Crónicas), as well as consultant of  allergology at Hospital de Dona Estefânea. He's also coordinator of Clinical Trials Unit of  Hospitalar Lisboa Central. 

Pedro Carreiro-Martins is vice-president of SPAIC ( Sociedade Portuguesa de Alergologia e Imunologia Clínica) and associated editor of the magazine European Annals of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. 

His interest areas are related with severe asthma in childhood and the study of the impact of the air quality in respiratory and allergic diseases.
